Readers at Fashiola will already know that the official colour of 2018 is ultra violet however as the year has progressed how has Pantone’s colour of 2018 actually made an impact on the trends? Check out Fashiola’s favourite ways to wear ultra violet this summer.
Ultra violet is quite a specific colour to try and find in the shops which is why this blog is actually dedicated to a more summer-friendly shade of purple: lavender. As pastel colours continue to be popular choice for 2018 a light purple fits perfectly with the sickly ice-cream colour scheme. Lavender is a great choice of the the range of pastel colours - especially for the Middle East - as it complements sun-kissed skin. Lavender also has an essence of luxury attached to it: it’s graceful colour which adds a little elegance to your summer wardrobe!

Ways to wear lavender
A light purple might not be your first choice but it’s easy to combine with your summer fashion! Lavender works perfectly with a light denim wash - so any shorts, skirts and jeans is a winner!
Additionally, lavender looks great with greys, silver or white. So your white converse or silver accessories would be a great way to finish off a lovely lavender look.
